Compare Cooler Master Heat Sinks - Hyper Series

Recently I was upgrading my pc/workstation to an AMD FX-8300 95W CPU and I wanted to upgrade the stock AMD heat sink. Because they make some of the best heat sinks on the face of the planet, I chose to go with the Cooler Master brand. Since I was trying to find the best cooling heat sink for the price, and my computer is mainly used for work and not gaming, I went with the air-cooled Hyper Series instead of using any of Cooler Master's liquid-cooling.

The only problem with some of the Cooler Master Hyper Series heat sinks is their size - I was afraid some wouldn't fit in my case.. So, to remedy this problem I made a chart in Excel to compare all the of the heat sink size specs. This was much easier thant having to click back and forth between a bunch of browser tabs or use site "Compare" features that only allow a handful of items to be compared at once.

So here it is, the comparison chart of the extremely popular Hyper series mainstream performance CPU air coolers by Cooler Master that feature direct contact heat pipes to provide highly efficient, cost-effective cooling.

*Cooler Master Supplied accessories may differ by country or area. Please check with your local distributor for further details.

Note: If a Heat Sink is not linked to, it is either brand new or discontinued.

For those that are curious, I went with the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO and it keeps my CPU between 18c and 38c from idle to max load!

Feel free to comment below with other Cooler Master heatinks series you would like comparisons tables/charts for, I can also do comparisons for heat sink series by other brands as well!
